Located in the heart of North Carolina, Piedmont Fiber Lab is a dedicated studio built to support creative entrepreneurs working with local and natural fibers. The Fiber Lab provides access to professional equipment, shared workspace, and expert support—removing barriers to startup and scale for textile innovators.
Our weaving studio is equipped with five 60” AVL Industrial Dobby Looms and three 60” AVL Treadle Looms capable of producing batches of up to 100 yards of artisan-quality fabric. These looms are ideal for weavers, designers, and brands interested in small-scale production of medium- and heavy-weight textiles.
